Maxin Home (“Maxin Home,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experiences, and subscription-based home maintenance services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of our Services.

1. Eligibility

To use Maxin Home, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Reside in a serviceable area

  • Provide accurate and complete account information

  • Have the authority to enter into binding agreements

2. Services Offered

Maxin Home provides subscription-based home maintenance services, which may include:

  • HVAC maintenance

  • Plumbing services

  • Landscaping

  • Pool cleaning

  • Pest control

  • Home cleaning

  • Other services listed on our website

Services may be delivered by Maxin Home employees or by licensed, insured third-party service partners.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

3.1 Subscription Commitment

All plans require a 12-month minimum commitment unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions automatically renew on an annual or monthly basis until canceled.

3.2 Payment

You authorize Maxin Home and its payment partners to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees, service fees, taxes, and any additional charges incurred.

Payments must be kept current. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.

3.3 Price Changes

Maxin Home may modify pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Services after notice constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Appointment Scheduling & Access to Property

4.1 Scheduling

Subscribers may schedule maintenance visits through our website, app, or phone line.
Availability may vary by location and season.

4.2 Access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your home to complete scheduled services.
If a technician cannot access the property or is turned away, a missed appointment fee may apply.

5. Service Partners & Contractors

Maxin Home may use third-party licensed professionals to perform certain Services.
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Contractors operate independently

  • Maxin Home is not responsible for delays, workmanship, or damages caused by contractors beyond our control

  • Maxin Home will assist in resolving issues, but contractor liability may rest with the provider

We aim to partner only with reputable, insured service professionals.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate service location information

  • Maintain safe conditions for technicians

  • Follow service preparation instructions (e.g., clearing access areas)

  • Report issues promptly

  • Not misuse or abuse the Services

7. Service Limitations

Certain services may be limited by:

  • Geography

  • Weather

  • Technician availability

  • Equipment access

  • Safety concerns

  • Local regulations

Maxin Home reserves the right to refuse or reschedule services when necessary.

8. Cancellations & Termination

8.1 Cancellation by You

You may cancel your subscription by contacting us at hello@maxinhome.com.
Early cancellation fees may apply if within the 12-month commitment. See refund & cancellation policy.

8.2 Cancellation by Maxin Home

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

  • Fail to pay required fees

  • Violate these Terms

  • Engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior

8.3 Effects of Termination

Upon cancellation:

  • Services stop at the end of the current billing cycle

  • No refunds for used or partially used service periods

  • Outstanding balances must be paid

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, text, graphics, and software are the property of Maxin Home and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Engage in fraudulent activity

  • Interfere with service scheduling systems

  • Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer website content

  • Harass staff or contractors

  • Use Maxin Home for unlawful purposes

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Maxin Home provides the Services “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

  • Every service will be available in all areas

  • Every issue can be resolved

  • The website will be error-free or uninterrupted

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maxin Home disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maxin Home is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of property or data

  • Delays caused by contractors or external factors

  • Personal injury from unsafe conditions at the service location

Maxin Home’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maxin Home, its employees, contractors, and partners from claims arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Services

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Damage or injury occurring on your property

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Revised Terms will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
