Plumber (Independent Contractor – Hourly)

Location: DMV Area (Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia)
Type: Independent Contractor (Part-Time, Scalable to Full-Time Workload)
Compensation:$45–$50 per hour (based on experience and scope)

About the Role

Maxin Home is building a modern home maintenance experience. We are looking for a reliable, skilled Plumber Contractor to support routine maintenance, repairs, and installations across our growing portfolio of homes.

This is a flexible, contractor-based role with consistent work and the opportunity to scale into a full-time workload as we expand.

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential plumbing maintenance and annual inspections

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters)

  • Install and replace plumbing systems and components

  • Complete preventative maintenance services for client homes

  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and the Maxin Home team

  • Document work completed (photos, notes, recommendations)

  • Ensure all work meets local code and safety standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years of residential plumbing experience

  • Active license (where required)

  • Own tools and reliable transportation

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Professional, customer-friendly demeanor

  • Ability to work independently and manage schedule
