Requesting and Receiving Service
If a Covered Product experiences a Breakdown, We will work with You to schedule a mutually convenient time for a qualified
repair technician (the “Authorized Repair Technician”) to come to Your home to repair Your Covered Product(s). To obtain
service go to www.armadillo.one or call at 844-471-1800. Notice of any Breakdown must be given to Us immediately upon
discovery and prior to contacting a service provider
Prior to service being dispatched all required plan payment(s) must be collected and current. If You request service during a
time in which there are unpaid Monthly Payment Amounts of the Service Plan Fee due from You, regardless of whether such
payments are currently due or overdue, We reserve the right to require full payment of the remaining unpaid balances prior to
providing any services/benefits under this Service Plan, at Our sole discretion. Outstanding or unpaid Service Fees must be paid
prior to new service requests being dispatched.
We will cover costs associated with emergency repairs that we have authorized as such. Emergency service is available for the
Breakdown of covered items or systems that affect the safe inhabitability of the home. We reserve the right to determine
which repairs constitute an emergency. Emergencies include the Failure of Central Home Air Conditioning when outside
temperatures exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit and Central Home Heating when outside temperatures fall below 40 degrees
Fahrenheit. We will make all reasonable effort to initiate meaningful service within 24 hours for emergency service calls. For
emergency service please call the Administrator at the number listed on Your Declaration of Coverage.
Non-original manufacturer’s parts may be Used for repair of the Product if the manufacturer’s parts are unavailable or more
costly. We reserve the right to obtain a second opinion of a diagnosis from another qualified service provider at our expense.
We will not pay for any services or parts provided without Our prior authorization. All covered repairs will be serviced by
qualified contractors. If We cannot provide a contractor for You, We may approve You to use a contractor outside of Our
network provided they can show proof of insurance and are fully licensed to perform such service you may submit a request for
us to reimburse You for covered service. After You have been authorized to locate a contractor, We will provide You with matrix
of approved parts and labor costs. This matrix will represent the max reimbursement amount approved for any authorized
claims. You will be responsible for any repair costs above the maximum reimbursement amount in the matrix We will
provide. To be eligible for reimbursement, You must provide to Us a detailed estimate, including a diagnosis and itemized
repair costs, and complete any reimbursement forms we provide to You as well as provide any additional information within 30
days of service completion. The amount of any cash settlement We offer You will be based on what We would ordinarily expect

paid and based on the matrix of maximum reimbursement amounts provided prior to You locating a contractor. If We provide a
cash settlement that is less than the total amount of the service contractor’s charges for work performed, You are required to
pay the service contractor directly for any remaining charges incurred. Under no circumstances will You be reimbursed for
service or a replacement Product that has not been previously authorized by Us.

After the Authorized Repair Technician’s diagnosis, or when You have been authorized to use Your own contractor, if it is
determined that coverage under this Service Plan does not apply, or no Breakdown is discovered, you are responsible for
making a payment to the Authorized Repair Technician directly for all charges incurred, including access and diagnosis. You
may then choose to have any necessary repair completed at your expense.
We are not responsible for secondary, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from the malfunction of any Covered
Product. We reserve the right to request copies of any Covered Product maintenance records or visual or mechanical tests
that may have been performed by a home inspector or other licensed mechanical contractor.
What if We determine that Your Product cannot be repaired?
If We determine that Your Product is not repairable, We, at our sole discretion, will either: (1) provide a new, rebuilt, or
refurbished product of similar features and functionality of the original unit, or (2) issue a payment equal to the Book Value of
the failed Product. Armadillo will use reasonable efforts to repair or replace Covered Products with items of similar core
mechanical functionality, but Armadillo is not responsible for matching dimensions, color, and/or brand (i.e. short vs tall water
heaters; small space configurations, etc.). We are not responsible for like-for-like replacement of a Covered Product if the
Covered Product contains any features that do not contribute to the appliance’s primary function including, without
limitation, TV’s or Radios in Refrigerators. If You have purchased Brand-for-Brand coverage, as listed on the Declaration of
Coverage page, We will make best effort to match the current specifications of your product, as outlined in the Brand-for Brand
coverage section, up to the maximum Covered Product Claim. We will use the following considerations when sourcing a
replacement product:
• Appliances:
o Refrigeration/freezer: Cubic foot capacity; Door Dispenser, and Style (side by side, French door, etc.)
o Laundry: Gas/Electric; Front or top load; Capacity
o Cooking: Gas/Electric; burners
o Water Heater: Gas/Electric; gallons
• HVAC: Seer and Tonnage; System type (i.e. Heat Pump, split system, etc.)
• Plumbing Fixtures: equivalent current grade
In situations where the Covered Product is a system, such as heating and cooling, the failed component of that system is the
only eligible Covered Product considered for replacement or payment, unless Optional HVAC Compatibility coverage is
purchased at an additional charge. Neither the replacement, nor the payment shall exceed the maximum limit listed in the item
table on Your Declaration of Coverage, nor the original purchase price of the Product, as determined by a receipt or our
records. The amount listed on the Declaration of Coverage for the Covered Product is not the amount You are automatically
entitled to receive in replacement or payment if repair is unavailable.
What is a Service Fee?
You will pay the Service Fee listed on Your Declaration of Coverage for every authorized claim submitted.
This is a non-refundable fee, unless You cancel Your service request at least 24 hours prior to Your scheduled appointment
time. The Service Fee ensures that We can offer You and others comprehensive yet affordable coverage. You will not pay an
additional Service Fee if a subsequent repair is needed within 30 days for the same product and same issue.

What Your Service Plan Covers
This Service Plan covers parts and labor costs to repair or replace the selected appliances, products, systems and optional items

on the Declaration of Coverage is the most We will pay for any combination of claims on all Covered Products for each twelve
(12) month period during the Service Plan Term. If a system comprised of multiple interconnected components (e.g., HVAC
systems with separate indoor and outdoor units or dual-fuel systems, double ovens, microwave-oven combo units, washerdryer
combo units) experiences a failure, this Service Plan covers only the specific failed component(s), subject to the terms and
conditions outlined herein. Coverage does not extend to components that are operational at the time of service, even if they
are part of the same system. We are not responsible for matching, upgrading, or replacing non-failed components to ensure
compatibility with repaired or replaced parts. If a new component is installed under this Service Plan and it is incompatible
with the remaining functional components, any necessary modifications, upgrades, or additional replacements will be the
responsibility of You. If a failed component is discontinued or no longer available, We may offer a comparable replacement.
However, coverage does not include the cost of upgrading or replacing non-failed components to maintain system uniformity. If
a portion of a covered system is repairable, We may choose to repair only the failed part rather than replacing the entire
system.
In the event You have multiple Covered Products of the same type (falling within the same sections as set forth below), We will
only cover the first Covered Product of each type reported by You, unless additional coverage is purchased.
